**Return Policy: Store Credit Only**
Thank you for shopping at Mel's on Market. We appreciate your support and hope you're satisfied with your purchase. To ensure a smooth shopping experience, please review our return policy below:
1. **Store Credit Only**: We do not offer cash refunds for returned items. Instead, we provide store credit that can be used towards future purchases at Mel's on Market.
2. **Eligibility**: To be eligible for store credit, items must be returned within 14 days of the purchase date. The item must be unused, unworn, and in its original condition with all tags attached.
3. **Proof of Purchase**: Please provide a valid proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation email, when returning items.
4. **Non-Returnable Items**: Certain items are not eligible for return or store credit, including but not limited to: perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on final sale items or gift cards.
5. **Return Process**: To initiate a return, please visit the boutique in person or contact customer service through our email melsonmarket@gmail.com. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue store credit for the value of the item(s) returned, excluding any shipping fees. If you are unavailable to come to the boutique in person, please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 154 Market Street, Cheraw SC 29520.
6. **Expiration**: Store credit issued for returns is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Please make sure to use your store credit within this timeframe.
7. **Exchange Policy**: We are happy to offer exchanges for items of equal or lesser value. If the desired item is of greater value, the price difference must be paid. Exchanges are subject to item availability.
8. **Damaged or Defective Items**:.Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Contact must be made within 3 days or it cannot be returned.
